Brett Favre took time this week to help out a triple-amputee in a wheelchair in his home state of Mississippi.
The Washington Times reports that the record-breaking Green Bay Packers signalcaller auctioned off a one-day training session at a charity fundraiser in 2013.
Actor Gary Sinise won the auction, but donated the prize to soldier Rusty Dunagan, who lives in Oklahoma. Dunagan stepped on a land mine while serving in Afghanistan.
Apparently, the training session was going to turn into a toss-the-football and go-fishing session, but it probably was no less memorable to the man who served our country.
