GREEN BAY - The Packers held their annual Coats for Kids collection during Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, and broke the record against past collections.
According to Jessica Bedore with the Packers, they collected 592 coats and $14,621 in cash donations at Sunday’s game.
If you missed the collection event, you still have a chance to drop off a donation.
"The Salvation Army and several area cleaners – Lindeman’s Cleaning, Royal Cleaners and Martinizing Dry Cleaning Service – are again leading the seasonal effort to collect coats," Bedore said. "Coats can still be dropped off at the participating cleaners, Papa Murphy’s locations, Ultimart Convenience Stores and Fox Communities Credit Union branches."
