Will The South Rise Again?
The controversy over the Confederate flag doesn't seem ready to go away anytime soon.
The NCAA will not allow Tournament games to be played in either Mississippi or South Carolina because the Confederate flag still flies over their respective Capitol buildings.
Now, a New Jersey high school student has been disciplined because he refuses to remove a Confederate flag from his pickup truck (which he parks in the student parking lot). The student says that he views the flag as a representation of Southern pride and a connection to relatives from the South. The school says he should take it down because others have complained.
The ACLU is weighing in on the side of the student.
During the 2 p.m. hour of Friday's radio show, we'll discuss whether a school should have the right to regulate what is displayed on cars in the student parking lot?
