Oh My Goodness, It's A Cross!
The Elmbrook School District used to hold graduation ceremonies inside Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. The mega-church offered a larger, cheaper and far superior facility to the ones previously available.
The school district has since stopped holding graduation ceremonies off campus.
In any event, back in 2009, nine people complained that the church was being used for graduation ceremonies. The argument was that non-believers were uncomfortable going into the facility. Unfortunately, a split United States Court of Appeals agreed with the anti-religion folks.
Today, over vigorous dissents from Justices Scalia and Thomas, the United States Supreme Court declined to hear the case.
