MILWAUKEE - Today's a day to possibly bring your umbrella with you to work or school in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Tomorrow's a day to definitely bring a jacket or wear layers, according to Storm Team 4Caster Jesse Ritka.
"After a beautiful weekend, the winds of change will turn the forecast around for southeastern Wisconsin," explained Jesse.
"A cold front will increase the clouds this morning and bring a chance for rain showers and an occasional thunderstorm this afternoon. It will not be a washout of a day and rainfall totals will only be around a tenth to a quarter of an inch, but keep the rain gear ready."
Then comes the cooldown for Tuesday.
"A breezy northwest wind will pull down cooler Canadian air and highs on Tuesday will struggle to reach 60 degrees under partly sunny skies," said Jesse.
"An isolated shower is possible, but most of the day stays dry."
Jesse predicts somewhat warmer weather mid-week, but we shouldn't expect to see 70-degree temperatures for a while.
"We warm up slightly for Wednesday thanks to a breezy southerly wind but we will still be seasonably cool for September. A spotty shower is possible Wednesday night before another day in the 60s on Thursday."
Then, Jesse says another cold front is expected to pass through the Milwaukee area on Friday, bringing a wet start to the weekend.
"That front will keep highs for the rest of the 7 day planner in the 60s."
