Report: Miller Park may offer self-serve beer
The City of Milwaukee is considering an application by Miller Park's food vendor to allow them to offer self-serve beer.
The Journal Sentinel says that Milwaukee Sportservice, Inc. has put in an application with the city to set up two beer vending machines at Miller Park.
Target Field in Minneapolis set up such a service just before the 2014 MLB All-Star Game. Their machine allows for people to get as much as 192 ounces of beer per hour at a game, but employees there were stationed to make sure fans would not overpurchase.
The report says the new self-serve beer stations would be placed in sections 125 and 222 at the home of the Brewers.
