Video explores how people would react to kidnapping attempt

A man named Yousef Saleh Erakat recently posted a video on YouTube of what he calls the "The Kidnapping Children Experiment."

In the video, a distraught young boy approaches strangers and tells them that someone is trying to take him. Erakat then comes running up and explains that his "son" is just joking around.

The 24-year-old Erakat says that his biggest fear growing up was being kidnapped. He describes how he would sit outside of his home after school waiting for his parents because he was convinced someone was inside.

He says that video is a way for him to express that fear in an artistic way and also spread positive change.

Although some people in the video believe Erakat, others don't. One couple even uses pepper spray on the supposed abducter.

Since he posted the YouTube video on Feb. 9, it has been viewed more than two million times.

This isn't the first time that Erakat has conducted a social experiment. His video "The Bullying Experiment," posted in December, also went viral with more than 5.6 million views.

What would you do if you were drawn into a similar situation?
