GREEN BAY - Packers fans hoping for the return of wide receiver Jordy Nelson for week 1 have some good news - at least for now - on his injured knee.
"The knee's doing good. It's moving right along...as far as we can tell. We'll find out a lot this coming week, but we feel good with where we're at," said Jordy Nelson on 620WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Afternoon News."
"We thought there would be enough time to get it done, take care of, and back for week 1. As long as everything continus to be the way it is, we're looking good."
Since Nelson can't play tonight against the Seattle Seahawks, what's his plan of action?
"I help out a little bit. I'll be on the sidelines trying to get calls, write them down, help coach (Edgar) Bennett out."
