For 16 years, Brett Favre was the undisputed Leader of the Pack on the field, but when his time to leave Titletown came, it was public, and it was ugly.
But proving that his ties to the Green and Gold were too strong to ignore forever, #4 is officially back in the family with the announcement today of Favre’s induction into the Packers Hall of Fame and the retirement of his number next July.
Today, I asked Favre when he was ready to come home.
"I was probably more ready sooner than everyone else was, just because I know my heart and how I feel about my career," Favre said. "I mean my goodness, 16 years in Green Bay, wonderful years."
