It was a long time sharing words between two former teammates, after a summer where one of them outpoured criticism of the other.
The postgame hug that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and former teammate Greg Jennings after the Packers' 44-31 win over Minnesota continued for a long period of time.
“It was a long hug, for sure," said Rodgers on ESPN's Pardon the Interruption, as recounted on "For the Win."
"It was a prolonged one, yes…. It seemed a little bit longer with all the cameras around. But, you know, it was two competitors after the game, words were said, and then we went our separate ways.”
Rodgers said there are postgame hugs that have greater meaning to players, but "not this one."
