Today's Outlook

Still sticky

There is not much change in the sticky September forecast except a lake breeze has helped to keep temperatures slightly cooler near Lake Michigan.  Everyone has the relatively high humidity so it still feels warmer than it actually is.  Besides an isolated shower or sprinkle chance this evening we should remain dry through the rest of the day and into the overnight hours.  Lows will still be warm for September, in the mid-60s with some patchy fog possible.

Friday will be mostly sunny, warm and humid again with highs in the mid-80s except along the lakefront where a NE wind keeps temperatures mainly in the upper 70s.  There is a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm but again, most of the day stays dry.

Saturday and Sunday will be the better days out of the Labor Day weekend because they will be mostly sunny and mainly dry with only isolated showers possible.  It will be warm and muggy all weekend long before a cold front swings through on Labor Day itself to bring showers and storms by the afternoon hours.  This front will wipe out the humidity and drop temperatures into the 70s by the work week with cool 60s for highs by the end of next week.
