Today's Outlook

Last day in the 60s

Almost a repeat forecast from Wednesday except the sunshine will stick around longer today.  The blue skies will not help warm temperatures up today due to the cold NE wind keeping highs along Lake Michigan stuck in the 60s while a few inland locations will climb into the low 70s.  High pressure keeps our skies clear overnight to allow temperatures to drop into the 40s away from the lake and low 50s along the shoreline with some patchy fog possible.

Friday will be much better with mostly sunny skies and a warming trend beginning to bring the 70s back to southeastern Wisconsin.  It will be mostly clear to partly cloudy for the fireworks along Milwaukee's lakefront with temperatures around 66 degrees at dusk, which is warmer than the high yesterday and today.

The 4th of July looks great with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s along the lakefront and low 80s inland.  A cold front to our north may trigger a few showers in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties in the afternoon but most of the day stays dry and comfortable.

Sunday will be beautiful with mostly sunny skies and July temperatures near 80 degrees.  The humidity cranks up on Monday and showers and thunderstorms will be developing to the west and moving into southeastern Wisconsin by the end of the day.  It will be a bit cooler when the rain comes to an end on Tuesday with highs slipping back into the low to mid-70s.
