Today's Outlook

July 1st feels like late September

If you didn’t see any rain the past few days, you are out of luck until Monday as high pressure will take control of our weather through the holiday weekend.  This morning is mostly clear and chilly with temps in the low to mid 50s…62 is normal in the morning hours for July 1st.  The cool September air sticks around for today and tomorrow with highs in the 60s along the lake and low to mid 70s inland.  You will also get to enjoy low humidity and a lot of sunshine. Tonight is clear and chilly once again with lows near 50.

Friday is sunny and beautiful, the Pick Day of the Week, with highs near 70 along the lake and upper 70s inland, but a light SE wind will develop which will cool the lakefront a bit for everyone waiting for fireworks in Milwaukee. The 4th of July weekend looks outstanding! Saturday is sunny with a light breeze, low humidity and highs near 80, but it will become cooler along the lake. The normal high is 80 degrees, and the record is a humid 102 from 2012.  Sunday is also sunny with a little more humidity and highs near 80. The chance for showers and t’storms increases on Monday with highs in the 80s.
