A Louisiana teacher is facing charges after being caught on camera allegedly attacking a student.

It happened in October 2013 at Jeanerette Senior High School. In the video, which was first aired by KATC Channel 3, you can see a student in a white T-shirt walking down a school hallway.

Physical education teacher Larry Brown approaches the 13-year-old boy and the student attempts to back away.

That doesn't stop Brown through. He allegedly then pushes the student into a corner, punches him between the legs and stomps on him.

The student's mother says this is not the first time her child has been attacked.

Brown was placed on one week of paid suspension and one week of unpaid suspension. After that, he was allowed to return to school. The student, on the other hand, had to change schools to avoid contact with the teacher.

Brown is now facing charges for simple battery and simple assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 19.
