Burglar steals donation jar for baby with rare medical condition

WEST BEND - Aaron Studzinski and his wife are expecting their third child any moment now, "Emmalynn Ruth," Dad says her name will be.

They've already had to spend quite a bit of time at the hospital because Emmalynn has a heart defect and will need several surgeries.
"Instead of having two arteries leading off the bottom of the heart, it's actually one whole one," Studzinski said.
Studzinski has been overwhelmed by support from his coworkers.  They have donated vacation days, and set out a donation jar to help the family.
"Somewhere between $25 and $75 was in it," said American Metal and Paper Recycling General Manager, Dennis Fechter.
But as shown in surveillance video, a man walked up to the counter and swiped the jar.
"It was disappointing to have someone come in and do that," Fechter said.
Fechter didn't recognize the man, but adds it's clear he knew money was on the counter.  Studzinski is disappointed what was supposed to be a gift to his family was stolen.
"It's not about the money, it's about your morals," Studzinski said.
If you recognize the man, please call West Bend Police.
