MILWAUKEE - People in Menomonee Falls wanted us to look into a waste water treatment company's planned move near their homes.
Neighbors said they will try to stop ChemWorks from opening it's new plant, now the company is fighting back.
Company President Mike Malatesta wanted to prove his company operates clean, so he gave TODAY'S TMJ4 an exclusive look inside their Milwaukee plant.
It's here where they take toxic waste water and remove things like lead and arsenic. What's left according to Malatesta is nearly clear water.
"I think it should make them feel were just not operating on our own here." Malatesta said.
"We have a very sophisticated water treatment system." He added.
Malatesta said if the plan goes through, neighbors will not hear or smell anything.
The new facility needs approval of the Menomonee Falls planning commission.
