MILWAUKEE- Inspection after inspection full of violations. The Chinese buffet on the city's south side can't seem to clean things up.

New China Buffet near 27th and Loomis. Seven health inspections from 2007 until now and all are full of violations. TODAY'S TMJ4 has been to this spot before. In 2008, 2010, February of 2011 and now after the restaurant's latest inspection.

Once again they didn't have much to say. TODAY'S TMJ4 were only told the owner was not there. Employees didn't want to comment on this violation. A cook dropped a large amount of partly cooked chicken on the floor and then put it back in the container. The inspector ordered the food thrown out.

Two employees washed their hands but didn't use soap. New China Buffet keeps having food temperature issues. Like chicken dishes on the buffet table not kept warm enough. Mussels also at the wrong temperature. Seafood has to be cooked to 145 degrees. Those mussels were at 122. Also soft serve mix at 60 degrees. Potentially hazardous food should be held cold at 41.

There were no expiration dates on cooked chicken and shrimp. Shelf life on prepared food is seven days. And food surfaces in the sushi prep area were not being sanitized. New China Buffet was fined for the fifth time.

TODAY'S TMJ4 was asked to leave.

This was TODAY'S TMJ4's fourth visit to the restaurant. TODAY'S TMJ4 left a message for the owner but did not hear back.
