MILWAUKEE - Local restaurants doing things right in the kitchen! Famous for their subs and a spot that puts together "great wraps." Two places keeping things clean this week.

If you're craving a footlong for your next meal, Subway on 60th and Oklahoma on Milwaukee's south side is doing things right. Health inspectors gave this spot an "all clean" on its last inspection.

General Manager Abby Johnston says it's about priorities. "There's a lot of times where you have to manage what's important first. Customers or cleaning. But we always have someone cleaning the lobby and making sure it looks good."

It looks good and it's clean. This subway gets our first Blue Ribbon Award.

A different kind of sandwich at "Great Wraps" off National Avenue in New Berlin's City Center. They make wraps, of course. Also on the menu, gyros, subs and curly fries.

As owner Mike Bernicky points out, every inch of his place is clean. "I'm a big stickler. You can ask any of these guys, because I think that's really important. And customer's appreciate it. Like we get comments on our bathrooms, how clean they are."

With no violations on its latest health inspection "Great Wraps" gets our second Blue Ribbon Award.
