COLLBRAN, CO -- Dumping your Christmas tree out on the curb is like tossing out a perfectly good turkey dinner, at least in the eyes of a goat.
The owners of a Colorado goat ranch are asking for old Christmas trees. They say their goats love to eat them!
“It's a great form of roughage for them,” says Teresa Fletcher of Top of the Hill goat farm.
“They have four stomachs… and to get those needles to go through there, it helps to clean out their system.”
The goats only need about an hour to take a tree down to a pile of twigs.
