MILWAUKEE - Optimism reigned in the voice of new Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Knight Tuesday.
"We have a lot of room to grow. We have a chance to be very good," said Knight on 620WTMJ's "Sports Central."
"It's a great organization...it's a great place to play."
Knight acknowledged the Bucks are also a young organization, with only 5 of 15 players 26 years of age and the number of newcomers on the roster reaching double digits.
"It's a lot of new guys, a lot of young guys."
Coach Larry Drew will have a lot to learn about his new roster of Bucks.
"I spoke to him a lot the past couple days," said Knight. It's been a great experience getting to know him...how he likes to coach."
Knight told 620WTMJ that he'll be returning to Milwaukee to find a new home, but he experience the comforts of his new city on Tuesday at the Wisconsin State Fair including the many flavors of milk offered there.
"I tried the cherry vanilla milk, the banana, I tried all of them."
However, when asked if he ate anything on a stick, Knight admitted, "No, I did not."
Probably a good idea for someone in training for their first NBA season in the Brew City.
