MILWAUKEE - The big bash may be over, but its effects are believed to have made a big impact on Milwaukee financially.
Dealers like House of Harley-Davidson say sales were beyond their wildest expectations. John Schaller said there were larger crowds with riders who spent a lot of money.
"The difference this time I think over the 105th is people are happy, the recession was sort of coming over the horizon when we were here five years ago," said Schaller.
Riders said they noticed larger crowds from a wider range of locations.
There are no hard numbers yet, but the financial impact is expected to be in the tens of millions of dollars.
