Crash in Jefferson County injures five
TOWN OF JEFFERSON -- A head-on collision in Jefferson County sends four people to the hospital and requires help from a Flight for Life helicopter, according to Sheriff's deputies.
It happened just after 4 PM on CTY Highway N near Curtis Mill Rd.
According to the Jefferson COunty Sheriff's Department, an SUV appear4s to have overcorrected when it drifted off to the shoulder, causing the SUV to hit a car head-on.
Fire crews from Fort Atkinson were able to remove the driver of the car - that person was flown to Aurora Hospital by Flight for Life.
The drivfer of the SUV as well as three passengers were taken by ambulance to Fort Atkinson Hospital.
The conditions of the people involved in the accident are unknown at this time. The crash is still being investigated.
