MILWAUKEE - The former archbishop of Milwaukee is making a return trip to the Brew City.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan is visiting to give a lecture at the Milwaukee Theater Thursday. The 4,000 free tickets for the event went fast.
“I think it's because of the stature of Cardinal Dolan,” said Rich Harter with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. “So many people love him still from his time in Milwaukee so this is the largest turnout ever.”
Friday, Cardinal Dolan will make a rare appearance with another cardinal, James Harvey, at a fundraiser in Saint Francis.
