MILWAUKEE - A company based in the Midwest has become the first to drop Ryan Braun from an endorsement deal after his suspension from Major League Baseball.
Kwik Trip, which owns hundreds of convenience stores in Wisconsin and other states, has ended its television commercials featuring Braun, according to ESPN.
Braun has many other business relationships, including the 8*twelve restaurant group with Packers star Aaron Rodgers.
Journal Sentinel sports business writer Don Walker says that the now-suspended Brewers star can return to the good graces of Brewers fans and the community - after the passage of time and an greater admission of responsibility.
"I think he can, but some time needs to lapse," said Walker on 620WTMJ's "Wisconsin's Morning News."
