Uh-Oh! Milwaukee Brewers Ryan Braun (8), who ESPN reported today, faces a 100 game suspension likely after the All Star break, holds back his swing wondering if it is a called strike during the 6th inning during the Milwaukee Brewers-Cincinnati Reds MLB baseball game Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. MILWAUKEE - After giving up a 3-0 lead over the Diamondbacks last night, the Brewers hope to change their luck in game two of a four game series in Arizona.
Milwaukee slugger Ryan Braun was placed on bereavement leave yesterday and missed Thursday's game. Today, Journal Sentinel Brewers beat writer Todd Rosiak reported Braun could miss the entire D-backs series:
Ron Roenicke said he texted with Ryan Braun some today. Situation has improved some, but he's still likely out until after AS break.— Todd Rosiak (@Todd_Rosiak) July 13, 2013
Tom Gorzelanny (1-2) gets the start for Milwaukee tonight. He'll face off against Arizona's Patrick Corbin (10-1).
