MILWAUKEE - There is growing concern to find a man who robbed a cashier at a Family Dollar store at knife point, and has also hit other businesses in this area.

Milwaukee Police posted a surveillance video on YouTube showing a man in a red hoodie robbing the Family Dollar store. Alderman Joe Davis says he should turn himself in before someone gets hurt.

"I think the most important concern that I have is that innocent victims don’t become part of, or doesn't become a victim of, someone who's making irrational decisions committing crime,” said Davis.

Investigators say the armed robber used an eight-inch kitchen knife to rob the discount store and other businesses along 76th Street, from Silver Spring Drive to Good Hope Road.

"In this neighborhood you have a very well organized block watch, so the information was disseminated," Davis said.

After the robbery, investigators said the suspect jumped into the passenger side of a waiting silver car, possibly a Dodge Intrepid.

If you know who this man is or know anything about the robbery, you are asked to call Milwaukee Police.
