Woman has been convicted of operating while suspended 27 times in 4 years
MADISON - A woman has been convicted 27 times for the same time in just four years.
Leanna Norton, 23 of DeForest, was pulled over Tuesday because she had an expired registration and was not wearing a seatbelt, according to WISC-TV.
The deputy pulled up Norton's information and found that her license was suspended because she did not pay fines, and has been convicted 27 times for operating while suspended since 2009.
She was cited for suspicion of operating while suspended, which will be her 28th conviction if convicted. Each citation for the crime costs more than $200.
