Power restored after outage in Racine County; two schools closing
RACINE - We Energies says that about 2,400 customers lost power in Racine after an outage.
Two schools are closing due to the outage: Park High School and McKinley Middle School.
The outage happened at about 9:20 a.m. A tree reportedly fell into a power line, leading to the outage.
Spokesman Brian Manthey tells 620WTMJ's Jay Sorgi that power was restored around 10:30 a.m.
