PLYMOUTH - Fire crews spent Saturday morning putting out a fire which a witness said came from an explosion in Sheboygan County.
Plymouth's fire chief tells TODAY'S TMJ4 that no one was injured.
Firefighters from at least than 10 different crews fought the fire at Feldman Engineering and Manufacturing on Appleton Street near Reed Street in Plymouth.
The building was a total loss, with no initial estimate on the dollar amount of the damage.
Walls reportedly collapsed at the facility. Firefighters knocked down other walls in order to knock down hot spots.
According to the witness, the fire began at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Another witness said they heard loud bangs and saw a fireball when he looked at the scene.
TODAY'S TMJ4 photojournalist Paul Marble said the fire was under control by 6:45 a.m.
He reports that drivers could see smoke from Highway 57.
There was no initial word on the cause.
