More snow expected this week
MILWAUKEE - The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the light morning snow to taper off to flurries the rest of the day with highs near 20 and wind chills in the single digits.
We might even get to see a little bit of sun late this afternoon.
Today's snowfall was 2-3" around the area and another Alberta Clipper will move in late tonight and for Tuesday with another 1-3" of snow across SE Wisconsin.
Before the snow arrives, the sky will clear for a bit and temperatures will quickly fall to near 0 away from the lake.
Clouds increase late and temperatures begin to rise overnight with about an inch of snow by the morning commute.
Light snow will continue to fall throughout the morning and early afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 20s.
Yet another storm system arrives for Thursday with a rain/snow mix as highs get into the mid 30s.
We finally get a break from the precipitation on Friday and Saturday with highs in the 30s, but another round of rain and snow moves in for Sunday with highs near 40.
