Romney, Santorum, Gingrich set to speak at Waukesha event Saturday
WAUKESHA - With Wisconsin's presidential primary, just four days away, three of the four candidates were set to speak at the same event in Waukesha on Saturday.
"We have Gov. Mitt Romney, Sen. Rick Santorum and Speaker Newt Gingrich confirmed as well as Congressman Paul Ryan and other elected officials," said Ralph Reed, the founder of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
"This will be an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates as they make a closing appeal before the Wisconsin primary."
The group is hosting the event at the Country Springs Hotel from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
"We think Wisconsin is going to be a critical turning point, and that's why we're sponsoring this free candidate forum. This race has been very hard fought. It's gone back and forth. Nobody has really been able to develop a long term momentum."
Reed expects more than 1,000 peopl will attend.
