SLINGER- Police have released the 9-1-1 call made by the wife of a homeowner that shot and killed Bo Morrison on March 3.

According to police, Morrison was drunk and broke into the homeowner's porch around 2 a.m. while trying to hide from authorities.  The homeowner shot and killed Morrison, then the homeowner's wife called 9-1-1.

Below is a fraction of the call:

Wife: 'I need an ambulance and the cops to be called.  Someone was in our house.''

9-1-1 Operator: ''Are they still there?''

Wife: ''My husband fired.  They were in the back hall and my husband fired shots.''

9-1-1 Operator: ''He did? Did he hit anybody?''

Wife: ''Yes"

Operator: "Is it a male or a female that he hit?"

Wife: "Male."

9-1-1 Operator: "Where did he hit him?"

Wife: "In the chest."

Operator: "Is he still breathing?"

Wife: "No."

The Washington County district attorney's office determined "the homeowner acted lawfully in self defense when he fired a single shot at Mr. Morrison," said the press release.
