Teenagers shot near east side Milwaukee school
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police said Thursday they were investigating the shooting of two teenage men right outside an MPS high school on the city's east side.
The victims are 18 and 19 years old, and both are from Milwaukee. Police believe they should survive their injuries.
According to police, they were inside a car going west on Locust when they were shot slightly before 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the corner of North Newhall and East Locust Streets, a short distance from Riverside High School.
Investigators believe that two groups of people were arguing earlier that night, which led to the shooting.
The victims then went to a local hospital, where they were treated for their injuries.
Authorities did not have anyone in custody Thursday morning.
