Southeast Wisconsin to warm up Sunday

Southeast Wisconsin to warm up Sunday

By Jesse Ritka. CREATED Dec 11, 2011

MILWAUKEE - A strong southwesterly wind today at 10-20mph will usher in warmer temperatures today, expect highs to get close to 40° in southeastern Wisconsin.

It will be sunny but with breezy conditions, it will feel colder than the actual temperature, wind chills will be in the low 30s.

Tonight will be mild with lighter winds and mainly clear conditions.  Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 20s.

Temperatures will hover around 40° for the start of the work week although the cloud cover will be increasing throughout the day on Monday.
There is a slight chance for some patchy drizzle on Monday afternoon, some of that may turn into freezing drizzle during the overnight hours which could create a slick commute for Tuesday morning.
Skies will dry out for Tuesday but the clouds hang around.  Wednesday and into Thursday there will be a better chance to see more accumulating precipitation but since temperatures will be in the 40s still, it will fall in the form of rain.  Expect temperatures to drop back toward normal for Friday.
