Demonstrators at Capitol Saturday want Walker recalled
MADISON, Wis. - Chanting and holding signs outside the State Capitol Saturday afternoon, demonstrators said they want Governor Scott Walker removed from office.
A large crowd, estimated at between 25,000 and 30,000, converged on Madison to draw enthusiasm for their efforts to have the governor recalled, asking people to sign recall petitions.
Workers and community members addressed the crowd and detailed how they have been negatively impacted by Governor Walker's agenda.
Anti-Walker demonstrators also held a food drive that they named the, "Can Walker Food Drive."
