MADISON -- The 12-week march toward Election Day is beginning with Republican Gov. Scott Walker releasing a positive television ad focusing on his job-creation record.
Walker's spot released statewide Wednesday focuses on Walker's efforts to cut the unemployment rate and features five different people saying that they got a job. Walker speaks to the camera and says, "We're not going to stop until everyone who wants a job can find a job."
Walker's campaign refuses to identify the people who appear in the ad.
Walker also doesn't mention his Democratic challenger Mary Burke in the spot.
She was campaigning Wednesday in Minocqua after handily defeating Brett Hulsey in Tuesday's primary. Walker was campaigning in Stevens Point.
