The ultimate in ironic family football rivalries could be brewing, and it involves the superstar quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.
Aaron Rodgers' brother Jordan has worked out with the Chicago Bears, according to the Chicago Tribune.
According to the report, the team could sign Jordan as a practice squad player, though they also need a third quarterback.
Jordan and current Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler know each other, as both are from Vanderbilt.
He tried out with the Jacksonville Jaguars this summer, but was released in July.
The plot thickened Friday morning when another brother of a quarterback in the NFL, Jordan Palmer (brother of Carson Palmer), was released by the Bears.
To our immediate knowledge, it is the first time ever brothers would find themselves on opposite rosters in the NFL's most storied rivalry.
