  • With low level winds off of Lake Michigan this morning, some East side locations are picking up a bit of lake effect drizzle and even some flurries. This should come to an end rather rapidly through the morning.

  • With those breezes leading to some clouds in the east and a disturbance to our suthwest streaming some clouds our way, too, we'll notice a mix of clouds and sun through the day. A chilly air mass remains in place and the mercury will remain below seasonal averages with highs only in the mid 40s through midweek.

  • Look for a vigorous disturbance to come at us from the Northwest on Election Day leading to rain showers and breezy southwest winds. An umbrella would be a good idea as you head to the polls Tuesday.

  • Today: Sun/cloud mix and cool again, some lakeside sprinkles and flakes, mainly early | High: Near 44 | Wind: NE 3-8 mph

  • Tonight: Increasing clouds and chilly | Low: Near 32 | Wind: SSW 5 mph

  • Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, breezy, and cool with showers developing | High: Near 45 | Wind: SW 10-15 mph

  • Tuesday night: | Showers ending then mostly cloudy | Low: Near 34 | Wind: SW-NW 10-15 mph

  • Wednesday: Partly cloudy and still cool | High: Near 46
