The majority of Americans say marijuana should be legal, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.
Among those polled, 55% say pot is OK, while 44% say the laws should not change.
Thirty-five percent believe smoking marijuana is morally wrong. That's a big drop from 70% in 1987.
Not surprisingly, the survey found that Republicans and Southerners are the only major demographic group that still oppose the legal use of pot.
