Jennifer Lawrence and several other celebrities were victims of a devious hacker over the weekend.

Nude photographs of "The Hunger Games" star surfaced online and word began to spread.

According to Buzzfeed, the photographs showed up on a web forum named 4chan. Risque photos were also posted of other stars like Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Hillary Duff, Amber Heard, Victoria Justice and Kate Upton.

The photos were allegedly stolen after a hacker was able to take advantage of an Apple iCloud leak and were posted on 4chan in an attempt to earn bitcoins. 4chan is a popular and anonymous message board that specializes in memes and mischief.

The hacker is also claiming to have explicit videos of Lawrence and more than 60 nude selfies. The hacker also says that a total of 101 celebrities were supposedly hacked.

Actress and singer Victoria Justice denied on Twitter that the photographs are real.

Singer Ariana Grande is also denying the photographs are real.

Actress Mary E. Winstead says that the photographs of her were taken years and were deleted a long time ago.

According to the Washington Post, a publicist for Lawrence confirmed that the photographs of Lawrence are legit and that the authorities have been contacted.

So far, Apple has not commented on the incident. The photographs can now also be found on Reddit, Twitter and Tumblr.

If the hacker is found, he or she could be sent to prison. Christopher Chaney was sentenced to 10 years in prison almost two years ago for posting stolen nude photos of actress Scarlet Johansson.
