Stars reign on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show' debut

The stars will be shining bright as NBC's Jimmy Fallon makes his "Tonight Show" debut on Feb. 17 in New York.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" follows the nightly Olympic Winter Games at midnight from Feb. 17-20. On Feb 21, his permanent time slot begins at 11:35 p.m. EST.

Will Smith with musical guest U2 opens Fallon's debut night, and the host's his famous friend Justin Timberlake closes out the first week.

Monday, Feb. 17: Will Smith with musical guest U2

Tuesday, Feb. 18: Jerry Seinfeld, Kristen Wiig with musical guest Lady Gaga

Wednesday, Feb. 19: Bradley Cooper with musical guest Tim McGraw

Thursday, Feb. 20: First Lady Michele Obama, Will Ferrell and musical guest Arcade Fire

Friday, Feb. 21: Justin Timberlake
