DE Morgan Embracing Defensive Change With Titans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Derrick Morgan had plenty of reasons for questions: Ken Whisenhunt is his third head coach with the Tennessee Titans and now he is being asked to play outside linebacker and defensive end.

The defensive end got enough answers that he has embraced the changes.

The first-round round draft pick in 2010 said Thursday he wondered how he would fit into coordinator Ray Horton's defense, which is mixing in a 3-4 front on a team that used a 4-3 scheme for years. Morgan says it's been a learning process through the offseason and first week of training camp without the changes being too drastic.

Morgan is going into the final season of his rookie contract, and Whisenhunt says Morgan is doing well enough they hope he has a great year.
