Suspect Identified In Madison Shooting
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked for help from the public to locate the suspect accused of shooting into a car occupied by four people in Davidson County. A woman was critically injured in the shooting.
The people inside the car told police they had arranged to meet 25-year-old Fred Settles at an apartment complex at 463 Due West Avenue in Madison around 10 p.m. Sunday. They said Settles had some stolen money to return to them.

Investigators with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said Settles had previous convictions for drug possession.
