NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A teenager was injured in an apparent drug-related shooting in Nashville overnight.
Metropolitan Nashville Police said the 17-year-old victim told them he had been shot at an apartment complex in the Hermitage area.
Following the shooting, he drove himself to his home on Hadley’s Bend Boulevard where police were called just before midnight.
The victim had been shot three times with a small-caliber handgun.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. An identity was not immediately released.
The victim allegedly admitted to officers that he had been at the apartment complex to sell marijuana.
He was allegedly not cooperating with police, and no arrests have been made.
