Police Search For Driver In Hit-And-Run That Critically Injured Pedestrian
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police in Nashville are searching for a driver that struck a pedestrian and left the scene on Thursday evening.
It happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Bridgeway and Keeton Avenues in Old Hickory.
Metropolitan Nashville Police said the vehicle struck the pedestrian, and then pinned the victim to a house. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Police said the vehicle could be a “box-style, white Ford Explorer type.”
The victim was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries. Police said the victim’s condition was stable on Friday morning.
