Police Arrest Man Who Took Off Running After Getting Car Stuck On Train Tracks
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man made a wrong turn in downtown Nashville and ended up driving down some railroad tracks. Police arrested him after he took off running.
It happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday on 3rd Avenue North near Jo Johnston Avenue. Metropolitan Nashville Police said the man turned left onto the tracks, and drove to the overpass above 4th Avenue North where he got stuck.
He got out and tried pushing the car, but that didn't work.
When police arrived, the barefoot driver took off running.
Officers eventually caught up to him, and took him into custody. Police said he was being investigated for a possible DUI.
