Marijuana Grow Operation Seized At White Creek’s Home
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Davidson County couple has accused of distributing marijuana after a large grow operation was discovered north of downtown Nashville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the operation was discovered at a home on Clay Lick Road in Whites Creek Tuesday evening.
Sandy Bush, age 35, was home at the time of the bust and was taken into custody at the scene. Her husband, 40-year-old Joseph Bush, was not present.
Police said 230 marijuana plants, some six to 8-feet-tall, were found, along with 11 pounds of processed marijuana, nine guns, five vehicles and $3,323 cash.
Sandy Bush was charged with manufacturing marijuana and two counts of gun possession in the commission of a drug felony. She was held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Arrest warrants have also been issued for Joseph Bush. Police said he was expected to turn himself in soon.
