NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two men were in custody while another remained at large after being charged in connection with a 2012 fatal shooting in Nashville.
A Grand Jury indictment issued Friday charged Alexander Vance along with brothers Damonta and Joshua Meneese with murder, aggravated assault and aggravated robbery for shooting death of Stephen Milliken.
The 20-year-old and three friends drove to the 400 block of E Nocturne Drive to sell stereo equipment on the night of December 26, 2012.
When Milliken got out of the car, police said the trio allegedly took the equipment at gunpoint.
When Milliken tried to flee the scene in the car, someone opened fire. Milliken was struck in the head and died from his injuries.
Vance and Joshua Meneese, both age 21, were already jailed on unrelated charges.
Damonta Meneese, 22, remains at large. Anyone who sees Damonte Meneese or knows his whereabouts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME.
