Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line, who married Brittney Marie Cole in Nashville last December, says his wife is having a great time on the road with the duo.

"She loves it. She loves being on the road, just a cool time for everybody, very exciting," he tells ABC News. "Being married, I don't think that's going to change our music, maybe even make it better."

The couple has their own bus, which allows them to have more space and more time to spend alone together, while Brian's duo partner, Tyler Hubbard, has a bus of his own as well. The only difference Brian can see in having separate buses, he says, is, "[We] just get a little better rest maybe."

When it comes to babies, however, the newlywed couple is in no rush.

"No, no," Brian confirms. "We have two sugar gliders, basically, in essence, little flying squirrels, and we just got a puppy ... she's like 9 weeks old. So, no real kids, just a couple sugar gliders and a dog, for now."

One focus of the duo's efforts, in addition to all the touring they have mapped out this summer, is their participation in Outnumber Hunger.

"Last year, we got well educated about Outnumber Hunger. Being involved with it was very cool to us," Brian says. "It's even more cool this go around, this year with the success we've had."

Brian credits his father with helping him to understand the importance of giving back, something he and his sister learned from an early age.

"When I was 14, we had a Christmas where my dad, he said, 'I'm going to take you down to the projects, to see a little less fortunate people that don't really have money for Christmas,'" Brian recalls. "That was just an incredible lesson at 14 years old."

Florida Georgia Line will make their first appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday (May 15), performing "This Is How We Roll."
