Atlanta is second stop on Garth Brooks’ comeback world tour
Garth Brooks will make the second stop on his comeback world tour in Atlanta.
The country singer announced the plans Wednesday. He is set to play Atlanta’s Philips Arena on September 19, the first of what is likely to be multiple shows at the venue.
Tickets, which cost $71.50 after taxes and fees, will go on sale to the public on Friday, August 8 at 10 a.m. ET. At least some of the additional Atlanta dates are expected to be announced before then.
On Friday, Brooks sold out 10 shows in Chicago, where he will make the first stop on his tour.
Those shows are scheduled over seven days at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, on September 4-6, and September 11-14. He will perform two shows on the nights of September 6, 13, and 13.
His wife Trisha Yearwood will also perform on all tour dates.
No other cities or dates have been announced for the tour, which could possibly last up to two years.
