'Devil Baby' prankvertising scaring the heck out of New Yorkers

If you heard a newborn wailing in a lone celebrity-favored $1,000 Bugaboo Cameleon stroller stationed on the side of a New York City, would you approach it?

Due in theaters on Jan. 17," Thinkmodo "came up with a brilliantly wicked stunt involving a realistic animatronic doll and a remote-controlled stroller to promote 'Devil's Due'... and the results are hilarious," reports People.

Pranks have become a popular way to market movies, television shows or products. It's called prankvertising, but this might be the most disturbing prank ever.

As seen in the video, apprehensive New Yorkers approach the stroller, push back the receiving blanket, and then are terrified as the "baby" pops up with a hellish scream. His red-ringed black eyes are watery and puffy, accompanied with drool running down his mouth.

Thinkmodo's PR stunt is repeated around various parts of the city, completely horrifying everyone (including dogs) who's involved. Without fail, everyone jumps back, except one man who doesn't react -- a street sanitation worker.

Later in the clip, the baby is pushed to the limit and begins spewing milk and holding up his little blurred middle finger to a NYPD police car.

Of course, "Devil Baby Attack" on YouTube has gone viral. More than 4.5 million people have viewed it.

"Devil's Due" features a newlywed couple and an unplanned pregnancy with an absolutely chilling twist. "After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy," describes IMDb.

Are you scared? Watch "Devil Baby Attack" above and then the movie trailer to "Devil's Due" below. If you dare.
